Durdle Door is one of Dorset’s most iconic landmarks. This natural limestone arch stands along the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its dramatic cliffs and geological history.
The ever-changing light and weather shape the character of this landscape throughout the seasons, creating endless opportunities to experience it in new ways. Captured in the evening light of autumn, this image reflects one of my favorite times of year to visit Durdle Door - when the low sun perfectly rim-lights the arch, enhancing its dramatic form.
