“Silent Waters” is part of my ongoing project documenting the slow and inevitable decay of the old Swanage pier. Each passing year and every storm leaves its mark, reshaping these weathered remnants and telling a quiet story of time and nature’s persistence. Captured in soft pastel hues at dawn, this long-exposure seascape reflects the pier’s tranquil yet fleeting presence. The clound was perfectly placed as the light and colour was at its best.
Watching its gradual transformation fascinates me, as each visit reveals subtle yet profound changes.
