Throughout my photographic career, I've captured Corfe Castle countless times, but nothing could have prepared me for this extraordinary moment. Witnessing the aurora borealis dance above the ancient ruins, perfectly timed with the Perseid meteor shower, was an experience beyond imagination. That night, I set out with the intent to photograph the meteor shower, never expecting the faint glimmer of the northern lights to appear in the sky. The unexpected convergence of these celestial events, with the castle as a silent witness, made this one of the most humbling and awe-inspiring moments I've ever had the privilege to capture.
