After spending a night camping on the shores of Loch Lomond, we woke up to this incredible sunrise. The sky came alive with rich tones of orange, red, and blue, perfectly reflected in the stillness of the water. It was a beautiful start to a journey further north into the Highlands and across to the Isle of Skye.
Loch Lomond, nestled within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, is a place of remarkable beauty. It is the largest freshwater loch in Great Britain, framed by rolling hills and dotted with islands, creating a landscape that feels both expansive and intimate. Camping by its shores offers a unique opportunity to experience the loch’s ever-changing light and moods, and this sunrise was the perfect reward for a night spent immersed in nature.
