As a photographer with a deep connection to the Dorset coastline, I’m always drawn to the ever-changing moods of Durdle Door. I love the process of fine-tuning shutter speeds and timing each exposure to capture the movement of waves on the shoreline. No two waves are ever the same, and each image is a unique blend of timing, technique, and natural rhythm, an aspect of coastal photography I find immensely rewarding. The cool, subdued hues reflect the atmosphere of this familiar landscape, a place I return to time and again to witness its shifting light and character.
