Lofoten in Norway is known for its dramatic weather, and Uttakleiv Beach is no exception. Almost every time I’ve visited, it has been very windy. On the day I took this photo, the wind was so strong that seafoam covered the beach, moving in unusual, almost wobbling patterns. It was fascinating to watch as it interacted with the incoming surf. Windy conditions also mean fast-changing light, and the brief glow on the mountain was gone almost as quickly as it appeared.
